Round 3 - Return of the Meme

General Rules

• Personal attacks and any kind of abusive trolling, hate speech, or bullying are obviously forbidden. Anon comments violating this rule will be deleted, signed in members will be banned.

Simon walked out of the bathroom, to be met by a giggle. Looking over at the bed, he saw his lover, his beautiful blue-eyed, boy, sat up in the four poster bed, dressed in a pretty white lacy corset and knickers. He had surprised Jim with this romantic weekend away; he had even booked the honeymoon suite for them.

Again Jim giggled.

They had had a lovely dinner, sat out on the balcony, eating by the light of the full moon. They had drunk the very best champagne; Simon had given him a single red rose. And after the meal had been cleared away, he had undressed Jim, and then re-dressed him in the sexy lingerie, and had then carried him to the bed.

Still Jim giggled.

Simon couldn’t understand why Jim was giggling. He knew he looked good naked, he had shaved so that he wouldn’t rub Jim’s skin raw. He knew that he was well endowed, so he couldn’t be laughing at that. He was completely baffled. Looking over at him, he followed Jim’s gaze down his body. Looking down he realised why he was giggling.

Simon was still wearing his socks.

...XD Simon I love you, you dear goofball. I can just picture him standing there so proud of how romantic this is and how he organized it, then he's standing there in a pair of those ridiculous holiday novelty socks you only use when it's laundry day. XD

It's actually kind of weird because I just started writing a fic about these two that involved lingerie; granted I have Simon wearing it and it involved their cast mates more.

[RPF] Lawry/Simon crush, fluff, happy ending

Simon is depressed about his upcoming birthday: he's in his fifties, his girlfriend just left him because she knows he has a crush on a cast mate and vice versa, his parents are pestering him for grandkids, and so on. He does have a crush on a cast mate - Lawry - but refuses to act on it because Lawry's so much younger than him. It turns out Lawry has had a crush on Simon since they first met and has been subtly flirting with Simon the whole time. When Lawry realizes how depressed Simon is, he decides to amp up his seduction - flowers, scotch, cigars, scarves, and so on. Simon STILL doesn't catch on. Their co-workers want to scream at them, "HE WANTS YOU!! JUST TALK TO HIM!!" Both brush it off, covinced the other isn't interested. Jim finally snaps at Simon, yelling that if Simon doesn't make a move soon, HE will start datig Lawry. Can Simon and Lawry get it together?

Dancing Queen

Mat sat on the bar stool and laughed, he couldn’t help it; Simon thought that he was such a cool dancer. Yes he could clear a dance floor in thirty seconds, but not because he was such a good dancer that everyone just wanted to watch, most people got off of the dance floor so they wouldn’t get flattened as he threw his unfortunate partner around the floor. They always stayed and watched though, it was fascinating, just like driving past a major road accident, you didn’t want to look but you just couldn’t help it.

Out on the floor, Simon was rubbing his hands all over his partners body, he held him up close, his hardness pressing firmly against their belly, his hands coming to land on a beautifully pert ass, squeezing tightly as he hugged them so close that all the air was forced out of their lungs, while he ground his hips against the smaller frame, there would be bruises visible in the morning.

Five minutes later, Jim collapsed against the bar, his hair all over the place, and his face flushed. Glancing up at Mat, he asked him to never let him agree to dance with Simon ever again. Mat grinned, and signalling to the barman, ordered another round of drinks, while Jim attempted to get up onto a barstool. As the drinks were placed on the bar, a pair of strong hands wrapped themselves around Jim’s waist and lifted him up on to the stool and then hugged him tightly. Turning his head, Jim smiled up at Simon and kissed him, he might be an awful dancer, but he’d always be Jim’s dancing queen.

“Language,” he reminds with a barely hidden smirk, leaning back from his scrolls as Robert storms into the room with all the wounded majesty of a pissed off rabbit, “I’m still only fourteen, you know.”

Robert only glares, something that is probably meant to be intimidating, but… Well, pissed off rabbit. He half feels like offering some vegetables instead, “and you’ve never heard anything like that before?”

“Never kissed anybody either,” he purrs, biting back a smirk so hard that he might actually scar his lip (it’s alright, it’ll only be a little one and people generally approve of the rugged look) “…Alright, then, what has my older brother and your younger brother done this time?”

“He-!” Aw, and Robert has gone wrathfully red at the memory – like a skinned rabbit by now, “he-!”

“He…?” He presses gently. Or mildly gently. Or in a way that is actually indifferent but may pass for gently.

“…He is favoured,” as Robert goes red enough to look like he’s been dropped in a pot. Not only a pissed off rabbit but a failure at being so, “he’s certainly dad’s favourite! And he’s going to get England and he’s going to rule and he’s going to father a lot of babies-“

“That’s not a problem,” he says, with a faint touch of affection – for he has plans for William but that doesn’t mean that he can’t be fond of the git.

“-And he’s going to found a dynasty!” Robert, of course, pays no attention to this – probably for the best, really, considering where his sympathies lie, “and what will I be left with then? Nothing-!”

“Apart from Normandy,” he says again, still with little hope of actually being heard, “and mother’s love, and an amusing nickname that should make people regard you with amusement for many years to come.”

…Wait.

Is he…?

Yes! He’s actually glancing over! And frowning, and looking like a sulky, pissed off rabbit that’s just been served up on a plate with a garnish of every type of meat that you can imagine “…Are you mocking me?”

“A little,” he answers brightly and honestly, since he knows his brother well enough to realize that the man will try to take it as a joke (in his stupid, constantly bellowing way), “but mainly I’m reminding you of the good things in life, and the acceptable things, and that you shouldn’t roll over and die just because father loathes you completely and utterly.”

A long pause.

Robert stares at him.

“Now,” he continues, hiding another smirk by the skin of his teeth, “I am the youngest son, largely without marriage prospects and generally ignored by both of my great parents. May I get back to trying to eke something out of my worthless life?”

Another long pause.

“…Yes,” Robert mutters, turning on his heel and heading towards the door in a way that just screams of helpless confusion, “yes, I suppose you’re right. I shall carry on living and fighting and being the oldest son. And maybe, maybe, when father dies I can ride over here and-!“

“That’s nice,” he murmurs, no longer listening, and bends back over his scroll – ready to start plotting again.

Lunchtime Love.

Larry sat at his desk and groaned, he loved his job, but he hated this part of the day, the part of the day between his coffee break and his lunch break. Although if he was honest about it, the part after lunch was even worse. If someone asked him what the most important part of his day was, he knew that in all honesty he would have to say that lunchtime was it. He spent all of his mornings looking forward to lunchtime, and all of his afternoons mourning the passing of that time. Once he got home from work he would spend the evening planning the next day.

But what was so important about lunchtime?

Every lunchtime Larry did the same thing, he left the office and went across the street to the coffee shop and ordered a hot chocolate and a maple and pecan slice to eat in. Why he did this when the office had a much cheaper canteen, no one except Larry himself knew. And there was no way that he was going to admit why he did it. Privately it embarrassed him to admit that he went there just so he could catch sight of the man who had unintentionally captured his heart.

Entering the coffee shop, Larry walked across to the counter and smiled at the pretty girl who always served him his lunch, he didn’t need to tell her what he required, she knew well enough by now. Giving her the money, he picked up the tray holding the mug and plate and made his way over to his usual table and sitting down, he waited for the man to arrive.

He wasn’t to be disappointed, not five minutes after he had sat down, the door opened and in walked the man who dominated all of Larry’s dreams. He wasn’t anything special, a man with an ordinary haircut and bright blue eyes. He was a bit shorter than Larry and he was a little bit overweight. But to Larry he was perfect. And that perfection lay in his smile; a smile that lit up his face like someone had turned on a 2000w light bulb.

Going to the counter, he ordered a cappuccino and took it over to the table in the far corner. Then he sat and slowly sipped at his drink, the froth sticking to his upper lip in a way that made Larry ache with a need to go over and lick it off. Catching his eye, the man smiled at him before returning to his drink. Watching him, Larry decided that today he would take his courage in both hands and go over and ask him out.

Just as he plucked up the courage to get up, the door opened and a man came in, pausing in the doorway as he looked around the room. Larry privately groaned, there was no way he could get to the man he wanted until this man moved. Then before his eyes his hopes and dreams fell apart. The cute man looked up and smiled, but not at Larry. Seeing him, the man wove his way over to his side and bending, kissed him, before he held out his hand and drew the man to his feet with a smile turned and led him out into the town.

Larry just sat there, he couldn’t believe that the man of this dreams had just walked out of his life without them ever exchanging a word. Getting to his feet, he wandered out into the street and stared up at the sky. It was raining. Maybe someone up there did care, and didn’t want people to know that he was crying. A hand touched his arm, and tearing his gaze away from the sky, Larry found himself looking into a concerned pair of blue eyes.
“Are you alright?”
The soft, voice asked.
Larry could only nod, and then watch as he was led away by the tall dark stranger. Closing his eyes, Larry wanted to scream. The man had finally spoken to him, and he’d been too shocked to reply.

Shaking his head, he walked back to his place of work. Hopefully, if he went to the coffee shop tomorrow he would be there, and maybe, just maybe he would be brave enough to say

“Hello.”.
