Simon is depressed about his upcoming birthday: he's in his fifties, his girlfriend just left him because she knows he has a crush on a cast mate and vice versa, his parents are pestering him for grandkids, and so on. He does have a crush on a cast mate - Lawry - but refuses to act on it because Lawry's so much younger than him. It turns out Lawry has had a crush on Simon since they first met and has been subtly flirting with Simon the whole time. When Lawry realizes how depressed Simon is, he decides to amp up his seduction - flowers, scotch, cigars, scarves, and so on. Simon STILL doesn't catch on. Their co-workers want to scream at them, "HE WANTS YOU!! JUST TALK TO HIM!!" Both brush it off, covinced the other isn't interested. Jim finally snaps at Simon, yelling that if Simon doesn't make a move soon, HE will start datig Lawry. Can Simon and Lawry get it together?
