hhanonRound 3 - Return of the Meme
General Rules- Personal attacks and any kind of abusive trolling, hate speech, or bullying are obviously forbidden. Anon comments violating this rule will be deleted, signed in members will be banned.
- If your comment is deleted/screened/frozen and you don't know why, please email the mod at hhanonmeme@gmail.com. (If you notice it happening to your comments and you know they're safe, a quick email for the mod to come and unscreen them would be helpful also).
- Prompt posts will close to new prompts at 3,000 comments.
Prompting Rules
- One prompt per comment.
- Please follow the correct format (see below).
- Include trigger warnings in the subject line. Use your discretion and please be considerate.
- If your prompt is missing something, such as a subject or a warning, repost it in it’s entirety. It is not enough to reply to your own comment with the missing information. The mod will delete the previous duplicate comment.
- Multiple fills of the same prompt by different author!anons are allowed.
- If for any reason you start a fill but feel you can't finish the WIP you've created, and if you're happy to let someone finish it for you, put it up for HH Meme Fostering and Adoption.
- Prompts for projects other than Horrible Histories (ie. Spy, Gavin and Stacy, Rev, St. Trinian's, the O2 adverts etc., and RPF involving actors from those projects should be posted at the What? They've acted in other things?! post.
Format of Prompts
- Put [RPF] before RPF prompts.
- For crossover prompts: "[Crossover], HH Character(s)/Other Character(s), [Fandom]"
- Anyone, everyone, no one? Use "Other."
- Put [GEN] before GEN prompts, just so you don't get unwanted shipping.
- Use appropriate warnings. I'm trusting you all to know what that means.
- Don't embed any photos, videos or other media.
- Copy and paste links in full; anon comments with active coded links are marked as spam and the mod doesn't switch accounts often enough - it may be a few days before those screened comments are de-screened (see: emailing the mod a heads up if it happens).
- To make the archiving job easier, please drop a link to your fill/unprompted fic here at the fills post.

FILL: [RPF] Ben/Mat., AU. (2a/2)
Date: 2011-12-14 06:53 pm (UTC)"Y'know, I'll miss you being so warm," he said, taking his hand gently and pulling him to sit on the bed. Mat obliged, curling into Ben's chest on the end of the bed. His free hand drummed at his leg and he looked up through his mop of curls.
"So... What do we do now?" Ben laughed pressing a kiss to his forehead.
"Sure you want to do this?"
"Absolutely," Mat replied grinning at him.
"Then... I guess..." he took Mat's chin, ever so gently, and turned him towards him.
"You know what'll happen?" Mat nodded in his hand.
"Yes, you... Bite... Me and then I sort of ... change. Yeah?" he asked, his big brown eyes searching Ben's.
"Yes. It will hurt - the bite. Like a really big injection. The rest... I don't know, it's weird. But not painful as such," he tried to explain. Mat smiled.
"It can't be as painful as bare feet on Lego," he said, and Ben just sighed.
"Only you Mat... Only you," He untangled their hands, taking Mat's face completely in his hands. Their eyes met for a second, glowing in the dark. Then Ben pulled Mat into one of the most amazing kisses of his life. It was like he was finally allowing himself to relax, unleashing his full power. Mat's hands scrambled against his shirt, tugging at the buttons. Had he had the breath, Mat would have noises, but his lungs seemed to have given up. He would have been quite happy staying like this forever. Ben's hands travelled from his face to his hair, then to his neck and back. He moved, planting kisses along Mat's jaw, his chin and slowly down his neck. Mat's heart drummed again, but not out of fear this time. Ben's fingers traced their way up his back, along his shoulders and to his neck. Mat was practically sitting on Ben now, and he pushed him back against the bed. Ben grinned against his lips, and in one fluid movement, moved to hang over him instead, never breaking the kiss. Mat chuckled breathlessly.
"Impressive," was all he managed to get out before he was bombarded with more kisses. Ben made his way along his jaw again, this time with fangs out, scraping along Mat's neck in a way that made him shiver. He attempted to say something sexy, but it came more like a mix of strange noises and Ben's name. Then Ben's teeth found the perfect spot.
Mat's breath hitched for a second, the sudden jab making him gasp. Something surged through him, icy cold washing over him. It coated every inch of him, smothering him, digging into his lungs, his heart. It was one of the weirdest things he'd ever felt. Just when he thought his heart must be a lump of ice, another wave washed over him, but this time much hotter. It ran through his veins, burning through everything. I've could feel it changing him; The tug on his muscles as they got stronger, the weird sensation in his mouth of new teeth, the buzzing feeling behind his eyes that would make everything clearer. His heart pounded louder and louder, or maybe that was the new, improved hearing? Some part of Mat's mind reminded him to breath, and he took one ragged gasp. Then silence. His heart stuttered, the sound filling his ears. With a final 'thud' it stopped.

"Whoah... Weird," Ben grinned, relief flooding him. Mat looked up, his crazy smile lighting his eyes.
"That... That was..." he trailed off, literally speechless. Then with his new-found strength, he pulled Ben down, smothering him with kisses, inhaling the new scents he could pick up. Ben tried to untangle himself, puling away to study Mat, whose eyes were now shining a dark black.
"Mat, you okay?"
"Mmm, Ben, I'm more than okay... Come here," he tugged on his shirt, and was surprised to feel it give in to his hands. He was left with the tattered remains of the shirt clutched in his hand.
"Oh my... Sorry Ben," he said, trying to suppress the giggle forming in his chest. Ben smiled, rolling his eyes.
"Mat, are you sure? You're not... Thirsty?" Mat's nose wrinkled.
"I... I think so. Is it that aching feeling here?" he said, running a hand down his throat. Ben nodded.
"Then yes. But..." he ran his long fingers along Ben's, now bare, chest.
"But?"
"It can wait... My eyes... Well, you're like a whole new man! And you don't have to hold back now, do you? So..."
"Mathew Baynton!" he gasped in mock horror, his grin spreading like wildfire. Mat broke into a grin, pulling Ben down for a final time.

Date: 2011-12-15 12:22 am (UTC)I like how it sounds that things might get kind of bad when vampires get too thirsty and Mat doesn't understand that yet but you know Ben will take care of him until he gets used to it.
And so sweet how no matter what, Mat just has to make jokes.
