Round 3 - Return of the Meme
General Rules- Personal attacks and any kind of abusive trolling, hate speech, or bullying are obviously forbidden. Anon comments violating this rule will be deleted, signed in members will be banned.
- If your comment is deleted/screened/frozen and you don't know why, please email the mod at hhanonmeme@gmail.com. (If you notice it happening to your comments and you know they're safe, a quick email for the mod to come and unscreen them would be helpful also).
- Prompt posts will close to new prompts at 3,000 comments.
Prompting Rules
- One prompt per comment.
- Please follow the correct format (see below).
- Include trigger warnings in the subject line. Use your discretion and please be considerate.
- If your prompt is missing something, such as a subject or a warning, repost it in it’s entirety. It is not enough to reply to your own comment with the missing information. The mod will delete the previous duplicate comment.
- Multiple fills of the same prompt by different author!anons are allowed.
- If for any reason you start a fill but feel you can't finish the WIP you've created, and if you're happy to let someone finish it for you, put it up for HH Meme Fostering and Adoption.
- Prompts for projects other than Horrible Histories (ie. Spy, Gavin and Stacy, Rev, St. Trinian's, the O2 adverts etc., and RPF involving actors from those projects should be posted at the What? They've acted in other things?! post.

- Copy and paste links in full; anon comments with active coded links are marked as spam and the mod doesn't switch accounts often enough - it may be a few days before those screened comments are de-screened (see: emailing the mod a heads up if it happens).

After the last scene they all got dressed in their regular clothes, and out of wigs and make-up, though Mat argued that he should wear the arrow (Caroline said no, it belonged to the studio, not him and bla bla bla remember what happened to something bla bla bla Larry had stopped listening ages ago), shed a couple of tears and then it was time to get going.
They always went to the same place after wrapping up a new series. It was a modern (sort of) pub not far from where the studio, they would all walk their, laughing with each other, cheering and just being generally happy. Because today was not a day for singing and dancing (but when they got drunk, they did it anyway), it wasn't the happiest day of the year, no.
It was a sad time, every time that their little family got split up, because maybe it would be the last time they ever meet each other (to film) again. They would all see each other at the BAFTAs of course, but it just wasn't the same thing. (BAFTAs was more of a fun party where they won stuff, alright now it sounded like he was boasting, but... yeah, if series two won a BAFTA... then series three was worth about... 7 BAFTAs... okay, Larry wasn't really sure how many BAFTAs there were, he didn't count and before they won theirs he had just been bored, and drinking (and making fun of Ben for bringing his cricket hat), and when they had won he was just focusing on that, to happy to do anything at all then feel awesome)
Larry tried not to think about so many things at once, but sometimes he wondered if his brain just didn't realize that sometimes, sometimes it could shut up?
They all got drunk, drinking not only beer but also vodka and other spirits. The pub/bar was dark, and played great music, and it had some sort of dance floor to those people with less self respect and more selfconsience then Larry could dance.
He was alright with sitting there, just taking everything in, and drinking of course. He wondered how he was going to ask Mat, who looked adorable, sitting on the other side of the table talking to Ben, Larry guessed that they were either talking about cricket or some of Mat's favorite bands that no one had heard of. (oh, that was the charm with Mat, it really was, his odd interests and that he would always stand up for the right thing.)
Soon it was only him, Ben, Simon and Mat at the table. Simon was staring into his bottle, like if he had found a new world inside of it. Then, suddenly he looked up at Ben. ”Let's go dance!”
”What?” Ben said.
”I want to dance with you now, Ben!” Simon stood up, all to sudden and pulled Ben with him, down to the dance floor, leaving Larry and Mat all alone. Bastard.
And Larry started talking with Mat, about NaNoWriMo, and about their worldcounts. And then Larry had a shot, and with the alcohol making him much braver he finally said: ”Yeah, well, eh...” Larry began. ”I have been thinking... and uh, would you like to go out with me.”
It broke every rule he had ever read in his sisters magazines, he should have casually asked Mat if he wanted to grab a coffee, now he sounded like he wanted to get married and get a house together.
During the few seconds that passed Larry regretted what he had said a million times and another million times he said that it would be okay. And then Mat smiled. ”Yes, yes I do want to go out with you Larry. I know a great restaurant, what about tomorrow?”
”Sure.” Larry said, well, that went great, didn't it?
