So I just wrote zombie fic.

Set on the HMS Victory.

Nelson now lost his arm at Santa Cruz due to a zombie eating it.

HOW IS THIS MY LIFE?

SO MUCH SQUEE. :DD It was even better seeing it than it was listening to it on the radio, and I loved all the new linking sketches they put in - not least because of all the new prompt potential! :D

It was lovely! Adorable and so much squeeing, and the linking sketches were AWESOME :D

I'm glad I recorded it, 'cause I'll definitely be rewatching it! :DD Loved the linking sketches so much - especially Mike Peabody. I squee'd so hard when he appeared at the start, and confused my mum. XD

(Eee! Love the icon! The Shakespeare bits were great. Though it just reminds me... I've been wanting to read Richard III, and I'm worried that if I do now, I'm just going to have Howick!Richard in my head the whole time. XDD)

I concur that it was even better than listening to the radio transmission, but I was left wondering what happened to the Plague Song and that sketch they had with the different social classes lined up. I really want to watch those bits now!

But you're right, the linking sketches more than made up for it in both hilarity and inspiration for a new wave of porn. ; )

Mat's Shakespeare was truly hilarious. And yes, all the squeeeing... : )

Surprise!Mike has turned out to be the star of the show really, hasn't he? So much glorious porn already... *beams*

As for my favourite squeeing moment, it's a toss-up between Larry wearing that fetching pink tie and so obviously trying not to smile too much under his Bobsy make-up...

...Aaand the fit of Ben's trousers when he walked out as Beethoven. And his mad hair. And his velvet frock coat. In fact, absolutely everything about Ben as Beethoven.

So much Willbond!fanservice, really. :DD He was adorable as Beethoven!

And what a fetching tie that was! XD Loved the whole Bobsy orchestra report. I also cheered when we got the Shouty Man advert for the RAH, too. ("THAT'S HIM. HE'S DEAD." XDD)

God, I totally forgot they did the Plague Song! :( Though I missed the social class sketch, too, because that ended with them all running away when Richard III came on, and the audience going, "aaaw." (Which, ngl, I did too!)

God yeah, the shouty man! I snorted a lot during that bit... It was fanservice all round really. All the actors had both hysterical moments and UNF moments. They spoiled us, and we love them for it... : )

It also spawned my rather random Victoria/Elodia thing... which I still don't know where that came from... Martha making that odd squeak noise probably...

The best bit is that I saw that prompt before and thought nothing of it, and then the idea of Nelson fighting zombies kinda took over my brain :D

Same with me. I see a prompt, I think, 'can't wait for someone to fill that', then a few days later I'm running back and filling it against my will, though in my case it's with porn rather than zombies.

I already left a comment on your zombies-and-nelson glory, but I'll say again here: IT IS AMAZING. : )

Im not sure if its just me, but I'd love to know how they decide who is going to play who in the sketches. I mean, it isnt like they all stick to one character type, theyre all fantastically diverse and could all possibly play any role, I'd just love to know how they decide it.

'Right, we need someone young, sexy, and who looks great in guyliner and a highwayman outfit' ... *All stare at Mat*
